1. Who is Dayang Sumbi? Describe her! Dayang Sumbi was a daughter of a king named Sungging Perbankara from a big kingdom in west java. She was so pretty and very kind-hearted princess. She loved weaving cloth.
2. Who is Tumang?Tumang was not an ordinary dog. A legend said that Tumang used to be a God who was cursed and sent down to the earth because of a mistake he made.
3. Why did Dayang Sumbi marry Tumang?  Dayang Sumbi married him because when Dayang Sumbi was weaving, the hank of thread she used fell into the ground. She was lazy to take it over and over again. She then murmured “If there is someone who brings that hank to me, I will marry him.” Unexpectedly, Tumang came and took the hank and gave it to Dayang Sumbi. As she had promised and she knew she had to keep her promise, if not, God would be angry. Dayang Sumbi and Tumang finally married.    
4. Was Tumang a human being or a dog?  Tumang was a God who was cursed become a dog because of his mistake.
5. What did Sangkuriang know about Tumang?  Sangkuriang knew that Tumang was a loyal dog, not as his father.
6. One day he killed Tumang. Did he kill him because he was a bad son to his father? Why did he kill Tumang?  No, he wasn't a bad boy. He killed Tumang because he didn't know that Tumang was his father. It was happened because after hunting all day with empty-handed, Sangkuriang worried he could not bring what his beloved mother wanted. He did not want to disappoint his mother. Thinking shortly, he took his arrow and shot Tumang and took the liver, then went home and gave it to his mother.
7. If you ware Dayang Sumbi, whould you tell Sangkuriang the truth or would you keep the secretfrom him? Explain your answer? If I were Dayang Sumbi, I would tell him the truth honestly. Because as we know that honesty is the best even it hurts.
8. What happened to Sangkuriang after the killed Tumang? His mother was angry and she hit Sangkuriang with a spoon. His mother sent him away with a big wound on his head.  Eventhough he knew that he was wrong. But why his mother sent him away because of killing a dog. It made him sad. he then decided to go away and never came back.  
9. When he saw Dayang Sumbi, he proposed to marry her. Was he a bad son to hes mother? Why did he what to marry her? No, he wasn't. He wanted to marry Dayang Sumbi because he fell in love with her and he didn't know that Dayang Sumbi was his mother.
10. Way did Dayang Sumbi ask him to build a lake and a boat in one Night?  Because she wanted to cancel Sangkuriang's intention to marry her, she then asked two impossible things as marriage requirements.

Cerita tentang Sangkuriang adalah jenis teks narrative. Dimana teks narrative bertujuan  untuk menghibur dan menarik minat pembaca dengan menyajikan cerita atau peristiwa yang memiliki masalah yang menimbulkan konflik dan pada akhir cerita ada resolusinya atau akhir yang bahagia atau bahkan menyedihkan. Sebenarnya teks narrative tidak hanya terbatas pada cerita yang berbau mistis, fiksi, legenda, dongeng ataupun fabel saja, tapi cerita lain yang berbentuk petualangan, misteri dan semua bentuk cerita. Intinya, narrative text adalah tentang cerita.
